Unfortunately a Museum volunteer collapsed and died outside of the Museum as they arrived to open the Museum today, 6th August.
Out of respect we will not open the Museum tomorrow, 7th, or Saturday, 8th, August.
We would like to thank members of the team at Ignite Church and paramedics who attempted to resuscitate our volunteer and Kent Police officers for the support they have given.
We will make a more detailed statement when it is appropriate to do so.
